I've picked out five Christmas present alternatives to the Lynx Africa gift box
Most men will have been there. You're excited to open your Christmas presents, slowly start peeling away at the wrapping paper, only to be greeted with a Lynx Africa gift box.
Is there anything wrong with it? Absolutely not. Is it the most exciting present you'll receive and something you'll remember? Almost certainly not.
Panic-stricken shoppers will soon be heading down those seasonal supermarket aisles and no doubt picking out the endless deodorant gifts sets or novelty socks when they run out of ideas. But before you do, I've had a trawl through the internet and picked out five alternative items in the same sort of price range to give you a bit of inspiration if you fancy picking out something new this Christmas.
Depending on where you look, and what's included in the box, the Lynx gift sets tend to range between about £7 and £15, so I've tried to stick within that sort of budget.

LED headlamp hat
LED headlamp hatFirst up we have a hat, but it's not just any hat, this one comes fitted with an LED headlamp. If you know someone who has a dog, regularly goes walking or running, then they'd probably get some use out of this over the winter months.
Hamish the Highland Cow Slippers
Hamish the Highland Cow Slippers (Dunelm)Who wouldn't love a pair of slippers? But not just any slippers, big fluffy slippers that look like a Highland Cow.
For £8, they'd surely raise more of a smile than a can of deodorant. Reviewers are loving them, with one branding the slippers "adorable" and another the "best slippers ever".
One gave them three stars, noting "They look better in the pictures than they do in real life", but 24 of 29 reviewers have given five stars.
Beard Buddy
Beard BuddyIf you have a friend or a loved one who has a beard or stubble, then this is an almost guaranteed winner. Trimming it can be a bit of a nightmare and lead to an almighty mess in the bathroom.
But this handy 'Beard Buddy' (basically an apron with suction cups that stick to the mirror) catches all the hair and minimises the clean-up operation afterwards - genius!

BLOSTM Magnetic Wristband (B&Q)If you know a DIY lover who's always fixing things, then this will definitely come in handy. There's nothing worse when you're trying to do a job and keep losing screws and little tools you need to hand.

Indoor Hover Football
Indoor Hover FootballMost men are just big kids really, and while this Indoor Hover Football might result in something getting smashed, it's sure to raise a smile and boost that Christmas cheer. It works on many different types of flooring, including wooden floors and low-pile carpet.
Take note that it does need 4 AA batteries which, annoyingly, aren't included, so be sure to get some of them too (a good idea ahead of Christmas Day anyway).
