Amazon shoppers are raving over a £9 product that they insist keeps them warm all year round and also makes a great gift. The Homealexa Long Hot Water Bottle is a game changer with it being twice the length of an average hot water bottle, and being a great way to stay warm in the colder months, without having to turn on the heating.

It comes with a soft cover that protects sensitive skin from the hot bottle and also adds a sleek touch to your space. It is worth noting that it's best not to put boiling water inside, and that you should leave a space of at least 3-5cm from the top empty when sealing it.

The quality of the actual plastic is great and the fluffy cover is quality too and I trust it’s washable though yet to try that. The bottle stays hot/warm for a very long time. No leaks etc. All round great product. Reason for not giving full star is the colour. Not a true grey. To me, it has a slight blueish colour to it."

A second penned: "Ordered this for my mum just before Christmas as the house is pretty cold over winter. This gets used on a daily basis, heat distributes nicely throughout the bottle. The case is nice and soft and hasn't got fluff everywhere. Only downfall is that its harder to get open again once screwed in that other water bottles we've had."
