Christmas is a time for treating and eating, but if you would rather not be chained to the kitchen this time around, a dedicated festive break could be just the thing for you and yours.

Once considered a staple getaway for the older generation, early Christmas breaks are very much back in fashion with families of all ages eager to meet up and eat up without having to worry about the washing up. Lovely referred to as "turkey and tinsel" breaks, these UK-based getaways allow you to celebrate the season at a time that suits you best and come complete with a mock Christmas dinner as part of the package.

To help you find the best pre-Christmas celebration break, we've rounded up the best deals we could find from the likes of Haven, Parkdean and Warner Hotels.

While the price may be subjected to a seasonal uplift, the sheer joy of celebrating away from home may well make up for the extra expense. From basic caravan holidays to luxury adult hotel stays, we've got you covered.
