Oprah Winfrey stunned onlookers as she stepped out in a figure-hugging gown, looking slimmer than ever.
The popular TV host hit the red carpet at the third Annual Academy Museum Gala at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles on Sunday. Oprah, 69, opted to wear a shimmering purple Dolce & Gabbana design to the event, complimenting her look with her hair tied back into a sleek half-up-half-down look with soft waves flowing over her shoulders.
She added some glamorous crystal drop chandelier earrings to her look and had glasses adorning her glamorously made up face as she posed for pictures on the red carpet at the star-studded event. Oprah also uploaded an image of herself to her Instagram page in the swanky attire as she wrote to fans: "Off to the @academymuseum gala with my @thecolorpurple family."

The slim looking star recently gave her take on weight loss drugs such as Ozempic, which is actually indicated for the treatment of adults with type 2 diabetes, and why she isn't an advocate for them. Talking back in September at a New York City panel for her Oprah Daily's The Life You Want series she said: "I don't know that there is another public person whose weight struggles have been exploited as much as mine.

She continued: "There's a part of me that feels - like I think a lot of people feel with bariatric surgery - that I've got to do it the hard way, I've got to keep climbing the mountains, I've got to keep suffering and I've got to do that because otherwise I somehow cheated myself."
