When cleaning your home, there is nothing more infuriating than spotting streaks on glass when you thought you'd make everywhere sparkling and clean.

Cleaning can be a therapeutic task for many as you watch your home transform into a gleaming abode, but there's nothing worse than hanging up the rubber gloves after scrubbing away only to notice a streaky window or shower and having to go back and wipe down again.

One cleaning fan has shared her easy and cheap trick online of how to get a streak-free finish every time - and it costs just 90p to make at home.

Taking to TikTok to share the trick, Kerry, who goes by the name @renovation_44 regularly shares home and cleaning tips and tricks, revealed how she gets a streak-free finish whenever cleaning her shower glass. She wrote alongside the video: "Hack: To get your shower glass sparkling."

She shared the simple homemade concoction she made to clean her glass. As she videoed herself making the mixture she said: "1/2 cup of water, 1/4 dish soap, 1/2 cup of white vinegar," as she poured the ingredients into a spray bottle.

The cleaning whizz then sprayed the mixture onto her shower glass and added: "This removes water stains and soap scum," as she used a sponge to rub it into the glass. Kelly then got her shower head and rinsed the glass and washed the mixture away and added: "Rinse for squeaky clean glass," and said: "Streak-free finish."

You can buy dish soap for 55p from Asda, and vinegar for 35p from Tesco, which means this will cost just 90p to make. Kelly then later detailed she used a "sonic scrub brush" to scrub the glass and also recommended people to use a squeegee after rinsing and "buff with a cloth" to get the glass sparkling. For stubborn water stains, Kelly recommended using lemon juice, but for her video, she used regular washing-up soap.

People were loving her easy trick as many cleaning fans hailed her hack with some calling her a "genius". One user wrote: "Thank you so much, it's worked for me," while another added: "Love this, thank you."

Whereas others chimed in with their own recommendations, as one cleaning fan commented: "Spray Rainx on it after," and another penned: "Try a magic eraser, 100 per cent works every time."
