There's nothing better than wrapping up in a cosy, fluffy towel after a warm bath or shower.
But how to keep your luxurious soft feeling at home? One cleaning expert has the answer. Over time, towels will often become stale and feel rough on the skin - even if you have just washed them. Many people throw them in the tumble dryer to make them soft again, but with the cost of living so high - and with the expense of Christmas looming - it's a particularly expensive option.
More and more people are choosing to dry their laundry on heated rails or racks, helped along by a dehumidifier, but they end up losing the softness you get from the dryer. Thankfully, one interiors expert has shared her clever hack - and it costs as little as 3p per go.
Posting on TikTok under the name @my_styled_living, mum-of-three Muna revealed her top tip for reviving towels. Rather than putting fabric softener into your washing machine, replace it with white vinegar when you next wash your towels.
You can then add a sprinkling of bicarbonate of soda to the drum and half your regular detergent, leaving your towels looking like new thanks to the added stain removers. The results are super soft and fluffy towels that even the most sensitive skin will appreciate.

Muna also has a top tip to get rid of the unpleasant vinegar smell that might linger on the towels, advising people to add a few drops of essential oil to the vinegar before washing.
You can pick up a 5 litre bottle of white vinegar for around £6.99 on Amazon and since most of us already have baking soda at home, this hack could cost you as little as 3p per wash.
It's by no means Muna's only household tip. You can also utilise essential oils to deodorise even the worst bins, with little to no effort. Simply sprinkle a few drops on some cotton balls and leave them at the bottom of the bin to keep your home smelling sweet.
She also previously shared her recipe for making 'toilet bombs' to help keep her bathroom clean. Muna mixes one cup of bicarbonate of soda with ¼ cup of citric acid, 1 tbsp of hydrogen peroxide and splashes of essential oil. Simply mould into shape and leave to set for a few hours. To use, simply toss into the toilet bowl, let it fizz and walk away.
