The UFC returns to Texas tonight for a fight night card stacked with top names as Beneil Dariush and Arman Tsarukyan meet in the main event.

Dariush is fighting for the first time since being knocked out by Charles Oliveira in their lightweight title eliminator fight back in June. The perennial contender recognises that he isn't getting any younger and is need of a big win to put himself back on the path to world title contention.

Tsarukyan has been hailed by many fans as a future champion but the 27-year-old will first need to beat Dariush if he wants to break into the top five of the lightweight division. Tsarukyan fought current beltholder Islam Makhachev in his UFC debut four years ago and is hoping a stoppage win against Dariush will set up a rematch against the Russian. So here's all you need to know about tonight's fight...

What time is the UFC on tonight in the UK?

Dariush and Tsarukyan lightweight fight will take place in the early hours of Sunday morning. The main card for the event, which is being held at the Moody Center in Austin, gets underway at 12am and there are four fights taking before the main event. Ring walks for Dariush vs Tsarukyan are expected to take place around 2am with the fight getting underway shortly after that.

Quotes corner

Dariush: "I think he is a stud, you look at him and in every aspect he can fight. He is a young kid and that makes him dangerous, when you are young you grow leaps and bounds. I don't look at him based on his last fight, I expect him and prepare for a better version. In terms of status, I gain nothing from this fight. If I win, my rankings won't change and if I win I will be dropped quite a bit."

Tsarukyan: "Finally I have a big fight, I am so excited and I can't wait to fight. He is a well-rounded fighter, I think he is going to try and figure out my gameplan. He will try to defend my wrestling and strike with me, but he might want to take me down also. If I finish him, I can talk about a title fight."
