Whether it’s blasphemy or genius, one Tik Tok user has shared their “unreal,” recipe for crumpet garlic bread as a perfect lunch snack.
The humble British crumpet is a national favourite and who doesn’t love a garlic bread side? Given that this tasty treat pairs well with many meals, TikToker Nate decided to combine both, with tempting results. Sharing the recipe on TikTok account , he revealed the tear and share recipe.
Crumpets are usually enjoyed warm with butter or other spreads which sink into the dough, the porous texture makes crumpets perfect for turning into cheesy garlic bread which can be quickly cooked in a matter of minutes.
According to Nate: “Crumpets are UNREAL for soaking up all that garlic butter, crispy on the outside and loaded with garlic on the inside. Say hello to your new go-to!”

Ingredients
337 calories per serving, serves four
Eight crumpets - crumpet thins will lower calories further
100g light or half-fat butter
100g reduced-fat mozzarella, grated
Salt and pepper
Handful of chopped parsley
Six garlic cloves, grated
Method
Grate the ginger, chop the fresh parsley, and tear up the mozzarella
Mix together the butter, garlic, parsley, then season with salt and pepper in a bowl
