As winter fast approaches, many Brits will turn to a delicious hot chocolate to warm them up - but Cadbury has once again left fans heartbroken as they've discontinued a firm favourite, and people aren't happy.

One Wispa-lover wanted to stock up on the tasty comforting treat, and they were left disappointed when they realised that it wasn't on sale anymore, as Cadbury UK have discontinued it.

It became apparent that the chocolate giant had stopped producing it when a super-fan checked multiple stores and couldn't find it anymore, taking to X, formerly Twitter, to ask Cadbury why it wasn't on shelves.

They wrote: "@CadburyUK why can't I find wispa hot chocolate anywhere???" Cadbury responded with the devastating blow: "The Wispa Gold Hot Chocolate has been discontinued, however, we still have lots of other chocolatey treats to try."

Many people weren't happy about the removal of the hot chocolate, as it's really popular with Brits - it has a rating of 4.6/5 on Amazon.

Someone wrote of the delicious product: "I got these to take to work and keep in my locker so I can have some at work to warm me up! Really tasty", with another commenting: "Perfectly frothy, with a delicious chocolate taste." A shopper praised: " I liked the taste and the bubbles formed. A teaspoon is enough for a 100ml cup and gives just the right strength. Love the product."

Another person took to X to ask: "Where is all the Wispa hot chocolate at!? I don't like any other. £7.99 on @AmazonUK. It's just not the Christmas vibe." Others took to X to praise the hot chocolate, referring to it as "so bubbly and yummy."

The news comes as Cadbury's has axed some other firm favourites this year, including Caramilk, and the less sugar version of Dairy Milk.
