There's something that isn't quite right in this bedside table image, and you'll need 'highly attentive eyes' if you want to spot it within the nine-second time limit.

Our brains work in mysterious ways, and sometimes you can find yourself staring at an image for what feels like hours before you ever notice that one tiny detail is wrong, because your mind has simply filled in the gap and covered up the mistake for you. But if you want to solve this brain teaser, you'll have to override that very clever part of your brain and actively search for the glaring error in the bedside table scene below.

The image shows a table with several books, a plant pot, a coffee cup, and a pencil all placed on top of it. According to JagranJosh, who shared the image online, there's only one mistake in the picture - and you've only got nine seconds to find it if you want to class yourself as the best of the best.

Now, nine seconds isn't a lot of time, so if you haven't already found it then you've probably gone over that time limit. But that shouldn't dissuade you from trying to find the mistake, because no matter how long it takes you, working out puzzles and brain teasers is a great way to boost your brain power.

It's actually really obvious once you see it, but it can be hard to register it as a mistake as our minds often completely overlook the finer details in order to take in the whole picture at once.

The mistake in the picture was with the big book in the middle. It seems as though we're looking at the front cover of the book with the title in big letters, but the orientation of the book itself is incorrect. The spine is on the right-hand side instead of the left, meaning you'd be reading the book backwards.

There are two ways to fix the mistake - either the book needs to be flipped so that the spine is on the left, or the title itself needs to be flipped upside down so that we're looking at the book from the other direction.
