EastEnders left viewers hooked on Thursday night as evil Nish Panesar went to desperate measures to stop wife Suki Panesar leaving Albert Square with lover Eve Unwin.
Only recently, Nish discovered wife Suki's secret relationship with Eve and their plan to start a new life away from Walford. In a heated exchange, Nish fumed at Eve for "seducing" Suki and taking her away from him, before Eve told him that Suki had wanted their relationship too and they had been planning to run away together that evening.
After seeing red, Nish hit Eve with a bottle and left her for dead on the floor of Walford East, before he urged his son Ravi to finish the job and kill her off for good. On Thursday's episode, Nish coerced Ravi into helping dispose of Eve's body despite Ravi insisting he didn't want to be involved.

Eve was able to push Ravi away as she ran off into the woods in tense run and chase scenes. In one nail-biting moment, Eve hid behind a tree with Ravi just inches away as she attempted to attack him with a tree branch.
However, Ravi was able to fight her off and as he was about to kill her, Eve managed to plead with him as they both agreed to come up with a plan. It was decided that Eve would disappear so Nish would believe Ravi had killed her and the latter threatened Eve if she were to come back or attempt to make contact with anyone, she would be dead, as well as her loved ones.

The text left heartbroken Suki with no choice but to head back home, where Nish started showing even more worrying and controlling behaviour.
Soap watchers are now predicting Nish having Eve's phone will be his downfall. Taking to Twitter, now X, one person said: "Suki is too clever to believe that fake text from Eve!!! come onnnn!!!!!!! #EastEnders!"
While another viewer added: "Why the f**k would he take her phone? Yet another potential vital piece of evidence leaking him straight to her. His prints will be all over it now. That plus his DNA all over her clothes & his blood from his earlier injury... Did he reject the call? Eve would never #Eastenders."
