Meghan Markle will find an "emotional release" in writing letters during her most personal struggles, one expert has suggested.

The Duchess of Sussex exchanged private letters with King Charles after members of the Royal Household allegedly expressed "concerns" about "how dark" her son's skin would be when he was born. It's believed Meghan named two people in the letters, which have been shown to author Omid Scobie.

She also sent an emotional letter to her estranged father Thomas Markle Snr, accusing him of "breaking my heart into a million pieces" after she married Prince Harry. Public relations expert Ryan McCormick believed Meghan's letters come from a very personal place.

Speaking exclusively to The Mirror, he explained: "The correspondences may come from the heart and provide an emotional release." Ryan also suggested Meghan's letters to the King will provide "references" if they ever need to discuss the Duchess' concerns in the future.

"By having a written record of her concerns pertaining to racism in the Royal Family, it's something Meghan would be able to use as a point of reference," he explained. Meghan and her husband Prince Harry first made the accusations during a chat with Oprah Winfrey.

Meghan's letters to King Charles regarding the "concerns" were talked about by Omid in his new book Endgame. He hasn't named those involved in the racism row, saying UK laws prevent him from doing so.

When the Sussexes made their explosive allegations on Oprah, in an interview broadcast around the world, they set in train a public debate about who in the Royal Family might harbour such racially charged views. In a multicultural modern Britain such allegations against the monarchy generated debate on a matter of such public importance with Scobie's new book claiming to add to that public debate.

Thousands of copies of a Dutch translation of Omid's book were pulled from shelves and pulped after a publishing "error" saw the pages identify those who had allegedly made the comments. The Mirror has chosen not to publish the names of those in question.

Publishers have now put sales including the names on hold "temporarily". Xander, the publishers of the Dutch translation of Omid Scobie's Endgame, said there had been an "error". In a statement, they said: "[We are] temporarily withdrawing the book by Omid Scobie from sale. An error occurred in the Dutch translation and is currently being rectified."

Omid himself has denied responsibility for the error, telling Dutch chat show RTL Boulevard: "The book is in several languages, and unfortunately I do not speak Dutch. But if there are translation errors, I'm sure the publishers will have it under control. I wrote and edited the English version. There's never been no version I've produced which has names in it."

Omid went on to deny that he had ever written the names claiming: "There's never been no version I've produced which has names in it."
