UFC champion Sean Strickland pointed a gun at a man who he thought was trying to break into his Las Vegas home.
Strickland, 32, is known for being one of the most controversial champions in the UFC having admitted to being a Neo-nazi who had fantasies of murdering someone. He was able to ditch his bigoted beliefs and turn his life around after a troubled childhood to win the UFC middleweight title by beating Israel Adesanya in September.
Posting a video of a man running down his street and then hiding behind a car on his drive, Strickland wrote on Instagram: "Checked my ring last night and thought he was stealing my car or trying to break in. What would you of done? I need full coverage on my truck lol! Also really nice guy.

"Here's what I know, the guy was drunk stomping out a girl, a security guard seen it," Strickland wrote. "He jumped in his car and drove off. Security followed him, hit a curb, completely shredded his tire, drove on the rim for a while then jumped out and tried to hide at my house. I initially thought he was stealing my car. He was arrested."

Strickland's coach Eric Nicksick saw the funny side of the situation as he said of his fighter: "You’re like the grownup version of Kevin McCallister, but angrier. Also, did you pull a gun on a guy wearing loafers?" One fan then wrote: "Dude picked one of the worst houses in the world to be a drunken fool at" as another added: "He could not have picked the worst spot to hide."
Strickland was also in the news this week after UFC welterweight Ian Garry threatened to sue him for making comments about his wife Layla Machado Garry. The couple have been at the centre of online attacks in recent weeks after a 2010 book published by Layla called 'How to be a WAG' resurfaced online.
Garry asked Strickland to take down posts he made about the matter, to which the UFC champion responded: "She wrote a book on 'How to be a WAG', I didn't even know what a WAG was until now. This s*** ain't right. We'll get you two ring girls at the same time, you have to pull that ripcord dude."
