Royal author Omid Scobie has finally released his bombshell new book Endgame, which gives an insight into Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's time in the Royal Family.

The explosive book has made a number of allegations against The Firm and it's believed it will "have the world talking" as Omid reveals moments the Royals should be "ashamed of". In Endgame, it's claimed the Duke of Sussex was "kept in the dark" about his grandmother Queen Elizabeth's health decline in the hours before her death.

The book also details claims made by Harry and Meghan that members of the Royal Family expressed "concerns" about "how dark" Prince Archie's skin would be when he was born. Here, we've taken a look at some of the most dramatic allegations.

Harry's brother Prince William believed "outsider" Meghan Markle was too "opinionated" for the Royal Family, according to Endgame. It's claimed Harry and William's rivalry heightened when the Duke of Sussex introduced Meghan.

The Prince of Wales is said to have expressed "concern" that Harry was "moving too fast" with someone who lived a completely different life to them. According to the book, Meghan appeared to be an "outsider" to William given their different upbringings.

The former actress' American lifestyle clashed with the life he was used to and he was reportedly put off by Harry's unwillingness to consider the risks that their non-traditional relationship could pose to the establishment. In response, Harry accused his brother of not helping to make Meghan feel welcome.

Meghan named two 'racist Royals'

Meghan and Harry accused someone in the Royal Family of making racist comments about their son, Prince Archie, and it's now been claimed in Endgame the comments came from two people. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex shocked the world as they sat down for a tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey and opened up about their time in The Firm. During the chat, the couple alleged an unnamed member of the Royal Family had expressed "concerns" about "how dark" Prince Archie's skin would be when he was born.

In Omid's book, he said Meghan named two members of the Royal Household in private letters she wrote to King Charles. Meghan alleged the two family members took part in "conversations" about her son.

The letters Meghan wrote to Charles are said to have been sent in the spring of 2021, after she and Harry spoke to Oprah. The King is said to have wanted his return letters to express how he felt no "casual prejudice" had been involved. Meghan and Charles felt they had "both been heard" after exchanging the letters.

The names of those involved have not been revealed in Endgame. Omid claimed that he knows the names but "laws in the United Kingdom prevent me from reporting who they were."

Harry 'kept in the dark' about Queen's death

Prince Harry was "kept in the dark" about his grandmother Queen Elizabeth's health decline in the hours before her death, according to Endgame. The Duke of Sussex was very close to his grandmother, but he was allegedly not told about her worsening health in the hours before her death.

It's believed Harry and Meghan had "no idea" the Royal Family were preparing for the Queen's final hours, as Queen Elizabeth had been advised by her doctors to rest. However, Harry then got a phone call from an unknown number, something he usually ignored.

Meghan urged her husband to answer the phone and he accepted the call "just before it stopped". Omid said Harry was told to make his way to the Queen's side "immediately". His brother William was said to be arranging travel. Omid claims Harry messaged his brother asking if they could travel to Scotland together but got no response. Omid said Harry and Meghan were left to "operate in the dark".

Harry was informed that William had managed to secure a flight with their uncles Prince Andrew and Prince Edward. In Endgame, Omid recalled how a source said how "upsetting" it was to see Harry "completely by himself on this".

Meghan 'told to be more Black'

Meghan Markle was told to "be more Black" during an engagement linked to Nelson Mandela. In Endgame, it's claimed the Duchess of Sussex was also told to "let her Afro out".

While Omid Scobie didn't specify when the comment was made, Meghan met with Nelson Mandela's widow, Graça Machel, during a royal tour with her husband in July 2018. The author claims the comment was made by a photographer, with a "senior courtier" allegedly shouting: "Oh my God. What a legend," in response.

Omid Scobie's book has provided new details about the death of Queen Elizabeth II and reveals exactly why Meghan was not allowed to accompany Harry as he frantically travelled to Balmoral to be with his family. At the time, the couple had travelled over from the US for a series of engagements.

The Sussexes are said to have had no idea that the Royal Family were preparing for the Queen's death until Harry's father King Charles instructed him to travel to Scotland immediately. Harry then received another call instructing him to come alone.

Writing in Endgame, Omid explained: "Charles had cited 'protocol', but the reality was that Kate chose to stay back to pick up the children from their first day at a new school." He also claimed the The Firm "just didn't want Meghan there".

Meghan 'never felt at home' in UK

There have been rumours recently that Meghan and Harry are hoping to reunite with the Royal Family, but Omid had claimed the former actress actually has no desire to return to England. He said she "never felt at home" in the country.

In his new book Endgame, the journalist also revealed why Meghan decided not to return to the UK for King Charles' Coronation back in May. He said she refuses to "dive back into the soap opera [we would like to add the “old” soap opera…] of the court".

However, it seems all is not lost for the Sussexes and their relationship with the Royals. According to Endgame, they're keeping King Charles III "up to date with their family life by sending him photos of the children".

Harry's heartbreaking question to King Charles

Prince Harry is said to have pleaded with his father King Charles and asked him a heartbreaking question about his grandchildren, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, as the monarch evicted the Sussexes from Frogmore Cottage. It's claimed in Endgame that Harry begged to be allowed use of cottage on the Windsor estate when he and Meghan visit the UK.

The property was gifted to the Sussexes by the late Queen after their wedding in 2018. However, Harry and Meghan were asked to vacate the home earlier this year following their move to America.

According to the new book, Harry asked his father after learning of the eviction: "You don't want to see your grandchildren anymore?" Charles has only had a handful of meetings with Archie and has only met Lilibet once amid frosty relations.

Harry is "ready to forget" his ongoing row with the Royal Family in a last-ditch attempt for reconciliation. The Duke of Sussex has had a tense relationship with The Firm ever since he and Meghan left the UK and moved to America.

In Omid's new book, it's claimed Harry said: "I'm ready to forget. Get an apology or explanation? At this point, who cares, right?" However, it's believed he hasn't managed to find "common ground" with his family and Prince William reportedly "refuses to speak to him about it".
