Strictly Come Dancing star Amanda Abbington has unveiled a drastic new look after her sudden departure from the BBC show.
The actress, 51, was paired with Giovanni Pernice for this year's series of the glitzy BBC One show, and they certainly set the dance floor alight at the start of the competition.
However, last month, Sherlock star Amanda dramatically left the show before Halloween week, resulting in Giovanni's elimination from the competition as well. At the time, it was reported that her exit was due to "medical reasons."

Over the weekend, after bidding farewell to the show, Amanda revealed her new hairstyle on Instagram, leaving her fans swooning. In the photo, Amanda is seen posing for the camera, sporting a pink hairdo with a side fringe instead of her usual dark, slicked style.

In her post, she penned: 'Finally got a haircut', she penned. Her new look was a hit with fans who quickly filled the comments section with compliments. One fan gushed: "Gorgeous! Love it." Another exclaimed: "Wowwwww you are so beautiful! This haircut looks great on you!"
Amanda's fiance Jonathan Goodwin also couldn't resist commenting, saying: "I'm so lucky." Fellow Strictly Come Dancing contestant and former Corrie star Ellie Leach wrote: "erm obsessed ????"
It comes after judge Craig Revel Horwood shared his thoughts on Amanda's sudden departure from the show. He confessed he felt "so sad" when he heard the news. "I was so sad to hear that Amanda Abbington had withdrawn from the competition," Craig revealed in an interview with Best magazine.
"I couldn't wait to see her dance the cha-cha-cha alongside professional partner Giovanni. So I'm disappointed I won't get to see their future dances," he added. "But I enjoyed watching her Strictly journey and wish her all the best."
