Manchester United are the most in-form team in the Premier League following yet another success.

The Red Devils ran out 3-0 winners at Goodison Park at the weekend - the goals coming from Alejandro Garnacho, Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial. The win has left Erik ten Hag’s side sixth in the table and just four points off the top four.

They will hope to take their excellent form into midweek in a key Champions League clash against Turkish giants Galatasaray. They currently sit bottom of their group, with a defeat potentially enough to see them eliminated from the competition.

Take a look at all of the headlines coming out of Old Trafford a day ahead of the game.

Greenwood scouted

Premier League clubs watched Man United forward Mason Greenwood in action as he scored in Getafe’s 2-1 win against Almeria at the weekend. The striker joined the Spanish side on a season-long loan in the summer and netted his second goal with a stunning effort.

According to Spanish outlet AS, a number of representatives from Premier League clubs were in attendance. Greenwood remains under contract with Man United until the summer of 2025, with Getafe said to be keen to keep him for the entirety of next season but are yet to formally express their interest to the Red Devils.

A decision on his future is not expected in the immediate future but it appears unlikely that they make a u-turn over his future after originally concluding that he needed to leave the club.

Ten Hag makes Mainoo prediction

Man United boss Erik ten Hag has suggested that Kobbie Mainoo could be set for a key role in the Red Devils’ side should he continue his current trajectory. The midfielder caught the eye during Sunday’s win against Everton.

Speaking after the success at Goodison Park, the Dutchman said: "He has a lot of abilities and it was a really disappointing moment in pre-season when he got so badly injured. For him but also for our team, because I know he can progress a lot if he plays many of such games as today.

"I know young players will develop very quickly and we thought it was the moment to bring him in. We prepared him properly but he did a great job and now he has to build on this."

Keane slams Ten Hag

While Ten Hag was left delighted with Mainoo, the Man United boss did not have a huge fan in Roy Keane at the weekend. The former Red Devils’ captain tore into the current manager for his response to Marcus Rashford’s penalty.

The striker was handed a spot-kick at Goodison by Bruno Fernandes. Speaking to Sky Sports after the game, the Irishman said: "He’s giving toffee out there to Bruno for passing on the ball for the penalty.

“Absolute b***** rubbish. Absolute rubbish coming out with that. Manchester United are sixth now – if you went back a few years, if you were sixth you’d be embarrassed.”
