Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck 'trying to send message' with 'very odd display'
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck tried to show they're very much in love by sharing a smooch while shopping, but one expert has said it instead looked like "very odd PDA".
The couple were snapped sharing a cheeky kiss on a sofa as they shopped for furniture for their $60million (£49million) mega mansion, which they bought back in June. Ben and J-Lo seemed very cosy as they tried out some of the pieces on offer at the furniture store in Los Angeles.
They were seen chatting before Jennifer leaned in to give her husband a quick kiss. Body language expert Judi James said the singer seemed all too aware of the cameras.

Before their kiss, the couple seemed to exchange a tense word as they decided which accessories to buy.

Judi suggested Ben was more natural than his wife during the outing, saying: "A 'Try before you buy' sofa ritual might include leaning back to try out your usual relaxed slump on a couch you're thinking of buying, which accounts for Ben's pose here, but leaning right in him to chat as Jen is doing looks unusual, especially as her rather serious stare, raised brows and jutted lower lip hint at some kind of negotiation or persuasion, while Ben's eyes seem to be pointing off to his left rather than responding with matching eye contact."
They were seen chatting as they shopped (Vasquez/ LAGOSSIPTV / BACKGRID)The expert added: "But then there is Jen's 'Happy kiss' gesture, where she leans in to kiss Ben, with her cheeks rounded and her lips curled in a smile in what seems to be a very 'intimate', 'indoors' type of pose rather than one you would strike in a shop." She said the couple seemed to be trying to send a message to the world amid rumours there's trouble in paradise.
"It's almost as though they are trying to show the world how they look at home and illustrate how happy they are together curled up on the sofa when no-one is watching, using a showroom sofa as their prop. This couple are rarely out in public without attracting fan and camera attention so the pubic kiss gesture by Jennifer looks rather like a statement to the world that she is still happy with her man," Judi told us.
It's unclear what Ben and J-Lo spent their cash on, but they were later seen loading their vehicle with a number of bags. Their mansion saw them spend a lot of money, but they're said to have got it at a bargain price, knocking more than $12million (£10million) off the initial asking price. The property boasts 12 bedrooms, 24 bathrooms, a 12-car garage and a full basketball court.
