Harry and Meghan's pal Omid Scobie launches astonishing attack on Kate Middleton
The author of a bombshell Harry and Meghan memoir has claimed Kate Middleton is 'too scared' to do anything more than photo ops in a a scathing new attack.
Omid Scobie, who is known for his reported close relationship with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, is to publish his new book 'Endgame' on Tuesday - where he describes a "fight for survival" within the Royal Family. He had previously penned the biography 'Finding Freedom' in 2020, which used information taken from Prince Harry and Meghan Markle via one of their aides.
And in a new swipe at the Princess of Wales just days before it hits shelves, Mr Scobie has claimed Kate has been praised for "small achievements" that would not be recognised if they had been done by other members of The Firm.
Omid Scobie also said Kate had been praised for 'small achievements' (Getty Images)He went on to tell the Sunday Times that "we infantilise [Kate] massively so the bar is always lower", and that she is "portrayed as a woman terrified to do anything more than grinning photo ops". Previews of Endgame have revealed major criticism of senior members of the Royal Family, particularly over the way they are claimed to have behaved towards Harry and Meghan - though the Sussex household say they are not affiliated with Mr Scobie's book.
According to a serialisation in French magazine Paris Match, a close friend of the couple claimed Kate "spent more time talking about Meghan… than with Meghan" prior to their falling out. The source added that the two women have no longer communicated directly since the end of 2019, and that "every time she hears about Meghan, Kate shudders and giggles." Mr Scobie also asserts that before Meghan and Harry started their "Megxit" in 2020, the women had virtually no direct communication.

In the book, it is also suggested that Prince William and Kate Middleton found the biting send-up of the Sussexes' relationship with the media in US animated comedy South Park to be 'very funny' - and that the Prince of Wales had never liked Meghan from when they were first introduced. Another major claim in the new royal biography is that King Charles did not respond to a desperate 'meeting request' from his youngest son - and instead ordered "an assistant to get rid of him with the excuse that he was 'overworked'". Three weeks after the meeting request was turned down, Prince Harry announced the publication of his autobiography Spare, reportedly leaving his father stunned.
