Gemma Collins inspired by Tana Ramsey's baby joy at 49 amid fertility journey
Gemma Collins has praised Tana Ramsay for having a baby at 49 as she starts her own fertility journey.
The former TOWIE star said she is over the moon for Tana and Gordon as they welcomed their sixth child together. She said it has made her think positively about having a baby in her forties herself after opening up about fertility issues in the past.
The 42-year-old is set to start her own fertility journey in the next couple of weeks after going through a miscarriage in 2012. Gemma has been honest in the past about wanting to become a mum and seeing Tana's birth story has inspired her.
Speaking to MailOnline, Gemma said: "The Tana Ramsay news was the greatest thing to wake up to. Incredible. It really made me think positively about my future and kind of took the pressure off. I don't think anyone knew she was pregnant, so it was a lovely surprise, but I got butterflies in my stomach when I saw it.

Talking about how positive she feels, she added: "I'll be standing on them steps announcing the child to the world. London will go to a standstill. The great Queen will come and greet the child!"
Chef Gordon Ramsay surprised his fans earlier in the month when he announced his wife Tana had given birth to their sixth child. The 57-year-old posted a sweet photo of himself kissing his newborn on the head as Tana held him in her arms.
Alongside the post, he wrote: "What an amazing birthday present please welcome Jesse James Ramsay, 7lbs 10oz whopper!! One more bundle of love to the Ramsay brigade!! 3 boys, 3 girls…. Done."
Tana went on to share her own post welcoming their new arrival. She said: "It's been a nerve wracking 9 months but we've made it and we have been blessed with this little bundle. Ramsay family definitely complete. Jesse James Ramsay we love you so much."
Gordon and Tana are already parents to five children; Megan, 25, twins Jack and Holly, 23, Tilly, 22, and Oscar, four.
Gemma said earlier this year that she and fiancé Rami Hawash are hoping for a baby. They took a spiritual trip to Tel Aviv in January where they visited Bethlehem, with the star later saying: "I did pray when I was there, I said 'please God, please give me a baby this year' and you know please God it happens.'"
She has been open in the past about being diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome battle (PCOS) which can affect fertility. Polycystic ovary syndrome is a hormonal disorder causing enlarged ovaries with small cysts on the outer edges. Symptoms include menstrual irregularity, excess hair growth, acne, and obesity.
