Prince Harry and his wife Meghan were ordered to hand back the keys to Frogmore Cottage this year

Prince Harry is claimed to have asked his father King Charles III a question about Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet in order to persuade him to change his mind about giving back Frogmore Cottage.

According to a French publication who have shared new extracts from Omid Scobie's new book Endgame, it is claimed that the Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry, asked his father: “Don’t you want to see your grandchildren any more?” The question was said to have been posed as the dad-of-two pleaded to be allowed to keep Frogmore Cottage.

Prince Harry is said to have given his father the ultimatum after the publication of his bombshell memoir Spare, which came after the King gave Harry and Meghan an order to return the keys to their Windsor residence.

In the move known as "Frogxit," it was made public in March that Harry had been told to leave, with the keys being given to the disgraced Prince Andrew. Harry called his father and used his grandchildren Archie and Lilibet to try to change the King’s mind, it is claimed by Scobie in his new scathing book, as per various reports and extracts circulating.

Scobie, the author who worked on Finding Freedom - a book about Harry and Meghan - will release his "explosive" new book, on Tuesday. The author, formerly dubbed Meghan's mouthpiece, has penned Endgame a book that is described as "a penetrating investigation into the current state of the British monarchy".

As the world prepares for Scobie's book to hit book shelves, French publication Paris Match have shared more extracts. Another excerpt from the book claims that Meghan "never wants to set foot" in the United Kingdom again, with her having "never felt at home" while she was here.

It has also been claimed that Prince Harry is "ready to forget" his ongoing row with the Royal Family in a last-ditch attempt for reconciliation with the Windsors, as the Sussexes eye up a Christmas at Sandringham following reports an insider said: "I can’t imagine the Sussexes would decline an invitation to spend time with His Majesty. As of yet, there have not been any invitations for the holidays."
