Britney Spears and her ex-husband Sam Asghari are now believed to be "cordial" after going through a bitter breakup.
Sam, 29, filed for divorce from 41-year-old Britney back in August citing "irreconcilable differences". The former couple are believed to have split after a "nuclear argument", with Sam then moving out of the home he shared with Britney.
Things didn't look good for their split, with sources suggesting Sam had planned to contest the prenup and was threatening to share "extraordinarily embarrassing information" about the singer if she didn't agree. However, it seems time has worked its magic and sources have now claimed Britney and Sam are "no longer toxic".

They went through a bitter split (Getty Images for GLAAD)The source claimed the couple's divorce settlement is almost finalised, with Sam now residing in a Los Angeles high-rise which is being financed by Britney. The apartment is reportedly costing her $10,000 (£7,900).

Speaking to TMZ, the source said Britney and Sam are "cordial off the back of their divorce bombshell". After splitting, the former flames stopped all communication with one another and reportedly left it up to their legal teams to handle the divorce.
The publication has reported that Britney will be signing a six figure check as part of the finalisation process of the divorce. Despite earlier reports, it's believed Sam won't be contesting the prenup.

"I was like, 'He was really cute, this guy was really cute,' so I called him. He's just a really fun, funny person," she said. Sam proposed to the Toxic hitmaker in 2021 and they tied the knot in a lavish LA ceremony in 2022.
They celebrated with 60 of Hollywood's biggest stars, including Paris Hilton and Madonna, with the bride walking down the aisle to Elvis Presley's "Can't Help Falling in Love." Britney wore a Versace gown and shared plenty of snaps on Instagram.
While Britney and Sam shared a number of blissful moments together, they also shared their fair share of heartbreak. In April 2022, the couple announced that they were expecting a child together. But one month later, they had to make the devastating announcement that Britney had suffered a miscarriage.
