Jamie shared his recipe on his YouTube channel and explained: "Inspired by my old-favourite Midnight pan-cooked breakfast, this recipe is all about the principle of cooking breakfast in one pan. This dish serves three lucky people, but the quantities are easy to scale up and down, just change your pan size accordingly, and embrace the ingredients you've got. This is the food of champions," as reported by The Express. So, this coming Sunday, why not try it out?

Method

  1. Place a large non-stick frying pan on medium heat with 1/2 a tablespoon of olive oil.
  2. Place the bacon and sausages in the pan and fry for 10 to 12 minutes and turn both occasionally. In this time, the bacon should be a golden colour and the sausages should be cooked through.
  3. When cooked, take them out of the pan and set aside, but leave the oil and fat in the pan.
  4. Turn down the heat to low, and then halve or quarter the tomatoes and place them in the pan to fry for a few minutes.
  5. Crack the eggs into the pan while the tomatoes are cooking, using the tongs to move the tomatoes randomly on top of them.
  6. While the eggs fry, slice your bacon and sausages and return them to the pan. Make sure they're evenly placed to ensure everyone gets a generous and even portion.
  7. Season with a sprinkle of black pepper, and cover the pan over with a lid until the eggs are cooked to preference. While cooking, toast the bread.
  8. When the eggs are cooked, take a spatula and loosen the eggs around the edge of the pan with a spatula. Now slide the whole meal onto a board or platter as one - and Jamie compared it to looking like a frisbee. Remember to add your toast on the side and enjoy.
