How to get the best deals on Black Friday

The trick to finding the perfect travel deal on Black Friday is actually looking for the one that most suits your needs at a price you can afford.

The key thing to remember when securing your next adventure on either Black Friday or Travel Tuesday is that if you think it is good value, ticks all the boxes and is a price that you are happy to pay then it is, indeed, a good deal.

How to keep up with all the best travel deals from Black Friday to Travel Tuesday and beyond

The best way to win big in the black Friday travel sales is by keeping an eye on what's occurring. Some companies could even wait until Wednesday to drop prices to rock bottom prices, but if you find what you're looking for before that, go ahead and get it booked.

Follow these top tips to ensure that you never miss out on the very best deals

  • Activate price alerts using a dedicated website like Skyscanner to monitor flight prices. The website will email you notifications when prices fall.
  • Sign up for email subscriptions with your preferred airlines and travel companies. By signing up, you can expect promo codes and deals to drop into your inbox all year round.
  • Compare deals before you commit to buying. Offers are usually based on demand and availability which means some companies may be able to offer the same flight or holiday for less.
  • Stay flexible. If you are able to move your dates of travel a few days on either side or even look at other resorts or destinations, chances are you will bag the biggest bargains on Black Friday. Prices can also vary depending on which UK airport you fly from, so if you can travel further from home you could save even more.
