The new content keeps coming in Ultimate Team, with EA Sports revealing the brand-new EA FC 24 Thunderstruck squad on Black Friday, which features some fantastic upgradeable Icons.
To celebrate Black Friday, EA Sports has released the EA FC 24 Thunderstruck squad, with the promo team featuring some of the best players we've seen in Ultimate Team so far, including Icons. And like the previous FC Pro Live promo, Thunderstruck is a live promo, which means every card released is eligible for upgrades, including the Icons.
Regular EA FC 24 Thunderstruck items can earn three upgrades, while Thunderstruck Icons are able to earn two based on how their real-life team performs over the next few weeks. Icons like Johan Cruyff, Ronaldinho and Thierry Henry are included in the squad, while stars from Real Madrid, Arsenal and Manchester City also feature.
The EA FC 24 Thunderstruck squad was released four hours earlier than expected, but with the huge amount of in-game content expected as part of the EA FC 24 Black Friday event, it makes sense for EA to kick things off a little earlier than usual. The EA FC 24 Thunderstruck squad is available in UT packs now and is set to remain in-game until Friday, December 1 at 6pm GMT/ 1pm EST / 10am PST.

Thunderstruck may just be the best promo squad we've received in EA FC 24 Ultimate Team so far, with some extremely meta players included. When you factor in that each player can also earn two PlayStyles and two TOTW-style upgrades on top of their current stats, it makes it a very exciting release.
