Meghan and Harry's surprise ally in Royal Family unmasked in new bombshell book
Prince Edward is fighting Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's corner within the Royal Family, an explosive new book has revealed.
The Sussexes' tense relationships with the family have been cited in author Omid Scobie's latest book, End Game. His bombshell remarks come after he previously released a biography on the Sussexes called 'Finding Freedom'.
In his latest book, the journalist and author claims that the couple were "kept in the dark" about the late Queen's health shortly before she died. In the book, he recounts how the pair visited the UK for a number of engagements in September 2022 when the palace announced that medics had told the monarch to rest.
Scobie's latest biography, which is set to be released next week, alleges how only Prince Edward was bothered about Harry's feelings, according to an extract published by Paris Match.com.

An unknown number. He usually ignored those." However, Meghan instructed him to answer the call "just before it stopped." Scobie continued: "Harry hadn't spoken to his father much that year, but this was not the time for any father-and-son tension.

Charles told him he and Camilla were about to leave Dumfries House for Balmoral, where Princess Anne was already by the Queen's side. He told Harry to make his way to Scotland immediately." The author claimed the prince messaged his brother William to ask how he planned to reach Scotland but he reportedly got no response. He later managed to share a flight with his uncles Prince Andrew and Prince Edward. Scobie alleged that Prince William isn't interested in "this version" of his brother and mentioned how Princess Anne had convinced Charles to withdraw Frogmore Cottage from the Sussexes.

The Sussexes are said to have distanced themselves from the biography and the author has since attempted to quash claims that he is friends with the Duchess, despite previously being called her mouthpiece. He recently tweeted: "And let’s get this nonsense out the way - #ENDGAME is about the current state of the British Royal Family. It’s not 'Harry and Meghan’s book', I’m not 'Meg’s pal', the Sussexes have nothing to do with it, their story is a small part of a much bigger one you can read in 12 days." End Game is set to be released on November 28.
