Black Friday is here and many Premier League clubs have launched major sales on kits, training wear and more.

Knowing what's a good deal and what isn't on Black Friday is no easy task but United's are offering 40% off and an extra 30% on selected lines making it one of the best football merch deals around today. From gifts and accessories to all sorts of United related gifts, it appears everything on the site comes with a pretty decent discount.

So, what's worth your time and what isn't? Well, there's 40% to be had off retro shirts for a start. Kits from the United's glory years in the 1990s are now down to £38.50, from £55, and there's also a 1963 FA Cup range, the 1968 European Cup Final shirt as well as the legendary 1999 treble winning season shirt all on offer.

However, the real deals are to be found in the adidas range. To kick off, with my first pick, United's home shirt is now on sale for £48. For the home shirt to be on sale just 12 games into the new season, that's somewhat of a steal for United fans with the kit not long ago being on sale for prices ranging between £75-£80 at most retailers.

The 'Authentic' version of the jersey, the one the players themselves wear, was £110 but is now down to £66 and is available in home and away. Now, with the weather taking a chilly turn you could do worse than this adidas Midweight Down Hooded Jacket that was £150 and is now £90, which is perfect for the terraces.

Maybe one for when the sunnier days return but this New Era Bucket Hat, which is now £18 down from £30, has the United crest branding and could be a good look for a festival come 2024, however at that price it's worth getting it in now before it rockets back up to its original price, or just sells out in the sale.

This Lifestyler t-shirt, which now £54 down from £90, takes its cue from United's third kit, and is one of the most stylish items in the sale with a strong vintage feel and minimalist design, while this Three stripe full zip hoodie, which can pretty much go with anything, is £33 down from £55.

Maybe the best pick of the sale is this Three stripe tracksuit, which was £80 and is now £48. It's such a versatile look as the hoodie and pants can be worn together or separately and it can pretty much be worn for match days, relaxing at home or at the gym or on a run, honestly the possibilities of a tracksuit are endless, and for both top and bottoms to be under £50 is my pick of the whole Black Friday sale.

The United Direct, although pretty comprehensive, still doesn't contain some items, noticeably, the third shirt for 2023/2024 in men's sizes, however looking around further I found it on Kitbag where the United third jersey is going for £56 in their Black Friday sale, however this deal only has hours left to run so you'll have to act fast.
