Sharon Osbourne has sparked concern from fans after her appearance on The One Show last night.

The 71-year-old was a guest on the BBC show to talk about her new one woman theatre production, Sharon Osbourne – Cut The Crap! But viewers questioned if Sharon, who is married to Black Sabbath rocker Ozzy Osbourne, was ‘ill’ because she looked so thin.

It comes after Sharon recently admitted she now weighs less than 100lbs (7 stone) after taking controversial weight loss drug Ozempic. Referred to as "the skinny shot", Ozempic has been very popular in Hollywood with many famous faces openly admitting to trying out the quick weight loss method. However, its original use is as a diabetes treatment to manage blood sugar levels.

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one fan said: “I watched Sharon Osbourne on TV tonight, what on earth has happened to her she looked emaciated. Has she been ill?” Another viewer wrote: “Blimey Sharon Osbourne looks poorly.” A third echoed: “#TheOneShow Sharon is fading away!” A fourth asked: “Is Sharon Osbourne unwell? Still lovely, but so much weight lost. Looks a different person now.”

While a fifth added: “I like Sharon and it’s horrible to see her looking so gaunt. It’s only her hair and voice that is recognisable. Who is advising her that this looks good... Can we have the old Sharon back please?”

Sharon admitted using the controversial weight loss jabs back in May and revealed they had made her “very sick” due to the side effects, which can include nausea, stomach pains and vomiting.

The TV star lost 30lb (2.1 stone) in just four months after taking the injections, but gave a stark warning to others that it is not "a quick fix". Speaking on her show The Talk, she said she believed weight loss is a “mental problem”.

She went on to explain: “It really is, apart from, you know, when children grow up in a household where they live off chips and pies. But I took it [Ozempic]. I took it for four months and I lost 30 pounds, but like everything, there's always no quick recipe. I was very sick for a couple of months. The first couple of months, I just felt nauseous. Every day I felt nauseous, my stomach was upset.”

Although she has stopped the jabs and is now eating normally, Sharon said there was a time she wouldn’t eat for three days a week – and shared the lasting effect of taking Ozempic has left her unable to put weight back on.

Ordinary people have used it too, causing global shortages – and there were recent warnings fake jabs were being sold in the UK. But while some have been singing the praises of the "miracle" injectable drug, Sharon has an age-old saying for those thinking about trying it: "Be careful what you wish for."

Speaking to the she said: "I’m too gaunt, and I can’t put any weight on. I want to because I feel I’m too skinny. I’m under 100 pounds, and I don’t want to be. My warning is don’t give it to teenagers. It’s just too easy. You can lose so much weight, and it’s easy to become addicted to that, which is very dangerous. I couldn’t stop losing weight, and now I’ve lost 42 pounds and I can’t afford to lose any more."

Sharon said she knows that people have commented on her looks and admitted she only has herself to blame. She added: "I don’t care what people say about the way I look. I know I look gaunt, and I know everything that goes along with it. And I did it.”
