Amazon's little helper around the home, Alexa, has made its way into millions of households over recent years, aiding with all kinds of everyday tasks, from turning on the lights to reading out the weather forecast. But what many people don't know is the handy assistant can actually help you hunt out the bargains this Black Friday.
Shoppers can choose to get personalised deal notifications from Alexa when eligible items within their wish list, basket, or save for later go on sale. Alexa can also keep an eye on on personalised deals, simply say “Alexa, what are my deals?” to your smart device like an Amazon Echo Dot.
You can even ask Alexa to purchase an item for you when it goes on sale by saying “Alexa, buy it for me.” Amazon has already launched many of its deals early, with offers across lots of different categories including fashion, electronics, gaming, beauty and Amazon devices.
If you aren't an Amazon Prime member then you can actually try out the service free of charge for 30 days, with the option to cancel if you find it's not for you. Amazon launched its Black Friday sales last Friday, November 17, and it's set to run until Monday, November 27.
Of course, Amazon isn't the only big retailer involved in Black Friday sales, with huge discounts across the retail world. Among the well known names who have already made their Black Friday deals live are John Lewis, Ninja, Currys, Shark, Samsung and Nike.
