Matthew Perry received a sweet tribute at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, just weeks after he was found dead in his hot tub.

As crowds gathered to watch the parade make its way through New York City, singer Jax performed on top of a Toys 'R' Us float. She belted out a cover of Jet's hit song Are You Gonna Be My Girl, but that isn't what got fans talking.

The 27-year-old singer wore a grey hoody which featured a picture from a beloved scene from Friends, featuring Matthew and his co-star Courteney Cox. In the picture, Courteney's character Monica was seen walking around with a turkey stuck on her head while Matthew's character Chandler Bing looked on in shock.

"@Jax u were great in the parade-love love love the sweatshirt tribute to Matthew Perry-Happy Thanksgiving," one fan wrote. Another said: "Love Jax’s special Friends Thanksgiving tribute t-shirt. A third fan posted: "@Jax This shirt is amazing. Great tribute to #matthewperry," while another added: "Jax with a nice tribute to Matthew Perry. Very very cool."

Courteney also shared her own Thanksgiving tribute to Matthew as she posted a clip from the Friends episode on Instagram. In the video she said: "Happy Thanksgiving everyone, I hope you're having a great day.

"I'm feeling so thankful and also if I get one more goddamn gif with a turkey on my head, dancing like a f***ing fool, I'm just gonna snap. So anyway, since I'm the symbol of thanksgiving, here ya go, hope it makes ya happy."

Courteney then had her fans in fits of laughter as she danced with another turkey on her head. In the caption, she wrote: "Flashback to 3 years ago… Probably won’t do that again. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!"

Matthew tragically died at the age of 54 on October 28, after he was found unresponsive in a hot tub at his home in California. His death certificate was released earlier this month, with his cause of death listed as “pending investigation” as the medical examiner's office awaits toxicology and lab results.
