Viewers of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! have noticed that Grace Dent has a "secret tactic" to remove herself from drama in the camp.
Fans spotted that the 50-year-old food critic, best known for her stint on BBC MasterChef, always walks away from heated discussions to avoid being embroiled in the drama. This was seen on the second day into the show when Fred Sirieix decided to instigate a discussion with former UKIP leader Nigel Farage over Brexit. Once Grace got wind of the conversation escalating into a heated debate, the star walked away and claimed she was doing the washing up.
Fans notice Grace Dent escapes drama while in the camp (ITV)And again, when Nella Rose angrily accused Fred of being disrespectful following his light-hearted comment about being old enough to be her father, Grace made a conscious effort to steer clear of the argument. Taking to Twitter, also known as X, one fan wrote: "Grace does a runner. Nella likes talking to people she doesn't understand.... So she likes talking?... Every time it gets a bit awkward in camp Grace does a runner."
And sharing a GIF of the grandfather from The Simpsons entering a room and walking away, another Twitter user likened the character to Grace and said: "Grace Dent whenever someone talks to Farage about his politics #ImACeleb." Before joining the show, Nella had mentioned that she was joining the show with a game plan - that was to see her getting on with all of her campmates.
But in light of recent events, Nella has been unable to see through her plan as she has locked horns with both Fred and Farage. Nella's recent argument came after she was discussing Brexit with the controversial former politician. During their heated debate, she accused the former UKIP leader of being "anti-immigrant" and claimed that his views meant that he "wants them all gone."

In an attempt to voice his opinion, Nella, who is Congolese and moved from Belgium to the UK, jumped in to tell him "And I'm one of them." Speaking to the Mailonline she said ahead of the show: "I’m looking to really bond with my campmates. To disagree with someone and then live with them for the next couple of weeks, I mean, what’s the point?... I’m just going to stay away from people I don’t mesh with that well and avoid making camp life unbearable."
She added that it would be entertaining if her campmates did not get along. As an onlooker, she joked that she reaches for her "popcorn" when people disagree. But she was keen to point out that if people did not get along with her, she will simply ignore them. And one thing that has remained true is that Nella has been ignoring Fred following their heated spat, which saw her tell him that although she accepted his apology, she did not want to be his friend.
