Jennifer Lopez 'feuding' with 'lazy' husband Ben Affleck over dog poo
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have found themselves coming to blows over their pets according to new reports.
The Hollywood couple have an impressive eight dogs and a cat living in their $60million Beverly Hills mansion and claims suggest that while J-Lo is on top of discipline for their furry friends, Ben is a bit more casual about things. The couple are juggling looking after their animals with childcare for Ben's kids with ex-wife Jennifer Garner - Violet, 17, Seraphina, 13, and Samuel, 11 - as well as Jen's twins Max and Emme, 15, from her marriage to Marc Anthony.
Now according to Heat the couple are feeling the strain over their clawed companions with Jen allegedly finding Ben's approach to cleaning up after the animals "lazy." An insider told the publication: “It’s a complete zoo at their house. Jen swears she’s the only one who ever deals with their mess – she’s always nagging Ben to help out more and to at least pick up their poop.

Ben meanwhile already owned German Shepherd Hutch who he adopted in 2011, and Golden Retriver cross he homed in 2015. The insider also revealed that Jen feels a bit put out as their pets appear to prefer Ben to her despite her doing the hard work. They added: “The dogs especially can’t seem to get enough of Ben. They all race to him when he walks in the room. If he leaves the house, they start whining and want to follow him. Basically, he gets all the perks, with none of the work, which is one of Jen’s biggest frustrations with him.”
Jennifer and Ben get help scooping the poop (Getty)The source also said that Ben will joke with his wife that she is jealous of the dogs adding: “He jokes that she’s jealous of the dogs, but Jen feels there’s a passive-aggressive undertone to it. Jennifer is confrontational, but Ben’s style is to do these micro-aggressions and get under her skin that way. It’s pretty childish and not very healthy.”
Meanwhile, the report suggests that Ben regularly calls in Doggy 911 to help with cleaning up all the poop left around the property by their collection of pets. The company website describes their services - which start at $12 a week - saying: “Dressed in uniform, they remove pet waste year-round and will even clean, disinfect, and deodorise decks, patios, and dog runs.”
