Prince Harry and Meghan Markle signalled a change in their relationship 'power balance' on a surprise date night, a body language expert has claimed.
The couple, who were on a trip to the Canadian city of Vancouver to promote the 2025 Invictus Games, watched the Vancouver Canucks beat the San Jose Sharks 3-1 from a VIP box at the Rogers Arena. The Sussexes were seen watching the game with their arms wrapped around each other and they enthusiastically jumped in the air to cheer a goal. It came after Harry performed the ceremonial puck drop for the game, echoing his late grandmother the Queen, who performed the same gesture in 2002, while on a tour of Canada with the late Prince Philip.

Speaking on behalf of Slingo, he said: " Prince Harry looks incredibly confident and competitive. He obviously loves sport and likes to be in the thick of it. As he is looking on I see elation from him when they score, he waves his arms, has a big smile on his face and we see genuine emotions from both of them.
"These are genuine reactions from both of them. Meghan can sometimes play up to the camera in these scenarios but here she looks to be genuinely enjoying herself. It's especially genuine from Harry, he celebrates the team, jumping up and down, dancing and smiling whereas sometimes he can look quite miserable."
The couple sat in a VIP box (AP)"In the past, Harry would be a more introverted version of himself when he was alongside Meghan and more extroverted when he was by himself but now he seems to have found himself. He has come into his own and is his own man. I think he has found his inner strength, previously he hasn’t shown this despite his position and it looks to have shifted in a way. I think Meghan recognises that Harry is a powerful person as a royal and I think she might feel slightly less dominant at that moment."

"They both seem confident, Harry doesn’t look nervous at all which is quite unusual, as it is usually when he is on his own that he comes across this way but he appears very confident and relaxed. It seems as though something in the dynamics or the power balance of the relationship has shifted."
Also on the visit to Vancouver, Meghan spoke with teenagers about their personal struggles for justice during a return visit to a charity she's worked with for years.
The former royal popped into Justice For Girls to chat to interns, staff and board members. She's been a supporter of the not-for-profit organisation since 2020 and has made a couple of visits to hear about their work. During her latest trip, she spoke with teens Jessica Lake and Lauri Thompson about justice and equality for teen girls who are living in poverty. The group also sat down for a round table chat, during which they discussed girls’ and young women’s leadership.
Meghan dressed all in white for the occasion, looking smart but stylish. She teamed a pair of white wide-legged trousers with a thin matching jumper. She wore her glossy brown hair straight and down, tucked behind her ears. She accessorised with gold jewellery, including a number of bangles and her gold Cartier watch.
