I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! contestant Josie Gibson made a cheeky confession about her This Morning career during a recent update from the jungle.

Chatting with Hollyoaks star Nick Pickard in the Australian camp, TV presenter Josie admitted that she loves getting dolled up for her appearances on This Morning - but also admitted she has previously presented the daytime TV programme a little under the weather after a heavy night drinking.

She also revealed the show's makeup room is where she "gets all the gossip". Nick responded to Josie: "And sometimes you get the casualties of people that have been out the night before." Josie laughed as she recalled: "One time - it wasn't actually my fault as I wasn't meant to be in and they asked me if I could come in."

Nick replied: "Well that's alright then. I always say then 'well, I'm a bit hungover but...'" Josie added: "A bit hungover? I was absolutely f****d." Josie later confessed in the Bush Telegraph: "Don't let anyone know I was presenting This Morning hungover but I did. I did present This Morning hungover..." She then cheekily added: "Twice." She promised: "I won't ever do it again. I've learned my lesson."

This Morning's Instagram account responded to a clip of her confession shared on the I'm A Celebrity page, with a surprised: "TWICE?" which had fans responding with crying laughing emojis. "Josie already my winner from when she was announced," one I'm A Celebrity viewer recently commented on This Morning's social media page, with another adding: "She's already my queen of the jungle!!"

Chatting ahead of arriving in the jungle over the weekend, campmate Josie admitted: "I keep thinking, 'Sh*t, I am actually doing this'. I know I have taken on challenges for This Morning in the past but I don't know if I've taken on too much here. It’s all becoming very real."

She added: "I am dreading the insects and it's my biggest phobia. I also don't like spiders and I freeze normally when I see one. My family thinks I am mad doing the programme too as they know what I'm like with creepy crawlies!"
