Meghan Markle speaks about 'struggles for justice' during latest visit
Meghan Markle spoke with teenagers about their personal struggles for justice during a return visit to a charity she's worked with for years.
The former royal popped into the Vancouver office of Justice For Girls this week to chat to interns, staff and board members. She's been a supporter of the not-for-profit organisation since 2020 and has made a couple of visits to hear about their work. During her latest trip, the spoke with teens Jessica Lake and Lauri Thompson about justice and equality for teen girls who are living in poverty. The group also sat down for a round table chat, during which they discuss girls’ and young women’s leadership.

She teamed a pair of white wide-legged trousers with a thin matching jumper. She wore her glossy brown hair straight and down, tucked behind her ears. She accessorised with gold jewellery, including a number of bangles and her gold Cartier watch.
Justice For Girls shared snaps from the day on social media. The caption read: "Justice for Girls was delighted to have a return visit from Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex. Joined by Jessica Lake and Lauri Thompson from the Lake family’s All One Fund, we had an engaging and heartfelt conversation about justice and equality for teen girls living in poverty in Canada and around the world.

A feminist advocate from a young age herself, The Duchess was keen to chat with two of our teen interns to discuss their personal struggles for justice. Her genuine and understanding approach left the girls feeling heard, supported, and inspired."
The group also spoke about women's leadership (Justice for Girls/Instagram)The couple made the most of their time in Vancouver, also going to watch an ice hockey game. She was seen dancing to a Simple Minds hit with husband Prince Harry as they watched the Vancouver Canucks beat the San Jose Sharks from a VIP box at the Rogers Arena.
The couple were in attendance to promote the next Invictus Games, that will take place in 2025 in Canada. Looking smitten, they were seen watching the game with their arms wrapped around each other, with them even enthusiastically jumping in the air to cheer for a goal before grooving to a song.
When the Canucks won the game, Harry was the first to leap from his seat. Meghan then put her wine glass down and got up too, with the pair celebrating together.
