Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's relationship has 'shifted', expert says

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were seen dancing and laughing as they watched an ice hockey game during their romantic date night.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex let their hair down as they danced along to a Simple Minds hit while watching the Vancouver Canucks beat the San Jose Sharks last night. The couple watched the game from a VIP box at the Rogers Arena.

Meghan and Harry seemed very happy on their date night as they wrapped their arms around each other. During the evening Harry seemed to be very confident, something body language expert Darren Stanton believes shows a shift in their relationship.

He explained: "In the past Harry would be a more introverted version of himself when he was alongside Meghan and more extroverted when he was by himself but now he seems to have found himself. He has come into his own and is his own man.

"I think he has found his inner strength, previously he hasn't shown this despite his position and it looks to have shifted in a way. I think Meghan recognises that Harry is a powerful person as a royal and I think she might feel slightly less dominant at that moment."

Darren added: "They both seem confident, Harry doesn’t look nervous at all which is quite unusual, as it is usually when he is on his own that he comes across this way but he appears very confident and relaxed. It seems as though something in the dynamics or the power balance of the relationship has shifted."

For their outing, Harry wore an all-navy look which comprised of a light-hued shirt layered underneath a navy jumper. He added some indigo jeans and a navy overcoat.

Meanwhile, Meghan appeared to twin with her husband in a dark navy ensemble. She accessorised her look with a simple gold chain necklace.

Harry and Meghan are currently in Canada to promote the next upcoming Invictus Games which will be held in Vancouver and Whistler in February 2025 and include winter sports for the first time. The Invictus Games will be held in Vancouver and Whistler in 2025.

The event was set up by Harry in 2014 to support wounded, injured and sick armed forces personnel. It's an event very close to the couple, who appeared in public together for the first time at the Toronto Invictus Games in 2017.
