I'm A Celeb's Nella Rose 'traumatised' as she quits trial amid camp drama
I’m A Celebrity 2023 star Nella Rose halted the latest trial during Tuesday night's episode, leaving hosts Ant and Dec stunned.
The YouTube star called time on the trial after collecting three stars for camp as it all got too much for her, amid drama between her and co-star Fred Sirieix. It was a tough challenge, and any wrong movement sent her back to the beginning again and again.
Host Ant McPartlin explained of the trial: "Nella, this is No Time To Cry - through the fence and hidden deep underground is an evil villain’s secret lair. You have to take on the role of secret agent and infiltrate that secret lair, collecting stars as you go.
"The stars are hidden behind protected glass. To get them, you’re going to need this super hi-tech magnetic secret agent watch…" Declan Donnelly added: "It’s basically a magnet we’ve glued to some velcro. But you get the idea."
On why Nella thought she had been chosen for the challenge by viewers, she said: "I just feel like everybody thinks I’m going to do so well. The pressure’s on me." Once underground, Nella faced a maze of lasers as part of the task and she had to try to navigate them while trying to free the star with the magnetic watch.

Nella did manage to get three stars in her bag, but worried about running out of time, she kept rushing past points in the trial.
Ant and Dec tried to encourage her to go back to said points to get the missed stars. But Nella reached a point where she faced being electrocuted as she attempted to get a further star, after already receiving shocks and screaming her way through the trial.
It's in that moment that Nella called it a day and shouted: "I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!" As viewers know, and as the hosts explain before each trial, these words call a stop to the trial immediately.

Nella rejoined the hosts with her three stars and shared her disappointment over her decision. She told them: "That’s the hardest thing I’ve ever done. Confined spaces.
"The electric shocks. I was confined, underground, electrocuted, it was giving hell. I feel like I was in hell. They’re going to be so disappointed in me… I’m so disappointed in myself."
Asked if she was okay, she said: "Not really, but I'll be fine." Calling it a "torture chamber" she said the trial was "traumatising".
