Adele reportedly confirmed that she married her longtime love Rich Paul earlier this week.
The Someone Like You singer attended Alan Carr's comedy show in Los Angeles. While there wasn't any recorded proof of the exchange, since comedy shows usually don't allow audience members to record them, someone who reportedly attended the show shared what Adele said.
"I was at Alan Carr's comedy show in LA tonight and Adele was in the audience. Alan asked the crowd if anyone got married recently and Adele shouted 'I did,'" the person told pop culture gossip Instagram account Deuxmoi.

Adele was sitting right behind me with a friend having the best time. Her security only came in to bring her snacks. She didn't care if people knew she was there heckling him as they're best friends. When he asked if anyone got married recently she yelled 'I did.'"

Rich and Adele have been noticeably private about their relationship, but the two reportedly met years before they started dating in early 2021. They kept it very low-key for the first few months but Rich did mention hanging out with an unnamed pop star in a New Yorker profile at the time.
The two were first seen in public together at the NBA final in July of that year, sparking dating rumours. Later, Brian Windhorst of ESPN confirmed the relationship status on The Lowe Post radio show, saying Rich brought "his girlfriend to the game to sit next to LeBron."

She opened up about meeting Rich in a Vogue interview in October 2021. She told the magazine that the two met at a party and gushed about her beau. "Rich just incredibly arrived," she said, "I don't feel anxious or nervous or frazzled. It's quite the opposite. It's wild."
Rumours of the two tying the knot started swirling two months ago when Adele made a comment at her Las Vegas residency show. A female fan proposed to the artist during the show, to which Adele said: "You can't marry me. I'm straight, my love. And my husband is here tonight."
