Everton fans will send a strong message to the Premier League this weekend - but not just during their home match against Manchester United.
The atmosphere on Sunday is expected to be emotionally charged after Everton were hit with an immediate 10-point deduction by the Premier League last week. The sanction leaves the Toffees 19th the facing another fight for top-flight survival, although interim CEO Michael Chong immediately stated the club would be appealing the severity of the penalty.
Supporters have already raised over £30,000 in order to stage a protest against league chiefs, and are planning to make banners, flags and leaflets to underline their anger. And Goodison Park won't be the only venue used for a protest.
The 1878 fan group has now revealed they'll be arranging for a plane to be flown, bearing a banner containing a special message for the Premier League. But due to the 4.30pm kick-off against the Red Devils, the aircraft will instead fly over the Etihad on Saturday during Manchester City's clash with Liverpool.
"We have had a lot of requests asking for a plane to be flown over Goodison on Sunday, with a message to the PL," they explained on social media. "Due to our kick off time, it will be dark.

"So instead a plane will fly over The Eithad on Saturday for City v Liverpool which will be watched by millions around the world. Once the banner is made from the company we can release a picture of this."

The clash between two of the Premier League's leading title contenders will be shown live on BT Sport. And it's game likely to attract a huge global audience for the 12.30pm Saturday lunchtime kick-off.
