Getting the house clean and tidy in time for Christmas can be a mammoth task, but thankfully, cleaning-obsessed social media star Mrs Hinch has shared which "must haves" to buy for the shiniest looking home this winter.

The mum-of-two - whose real name is Sophie Hinchcliffe - says if you want to get into cleaning and enjoy it, using the right scrubbers and surface cloths is how to do it. The homeware lover from Essex, who has over 4million Instagram followers, says there a six cloths on the market which she swears by.

Sophie, who is the best friend of Stacey Solomon, uses them to clean her kitchen appliances, glass and windows, stainless steal sink, and general surface cleaning. All the cloths can be found in high street supermarkets, on Amazon, or at homeware stores such as the Range and B&M.

The mum to Ronnie and Lennie, who shares what she gets up to at her home named 'Hinch Farm', said: "If you want to enjoy cleaning you need the right cloths and sponges. If I had to pick a few of my must haves, it's these."

She shared her top tips in 60 seconds on her Instagram story. She added: "Do you know what I've got to laugh because find another Instagram page that you could go to that has such a deep passion for a cloth. A cloth and a sponge. This is my cloth basket - I'm obsessed with it. I love it. I have so many people ask me about all different clothes and sponges and what's good for what. I really need to get a life maybe."

Showcasing the cloths on social media, Mrs Hinch, 33, added: "The Minky glass cloth - aka Kermit - everyone needs one of these for their glass in their house. Minky's - don't even need an introduction, you need Minky's. This is a buddy cloth, this is a Spontex cloth. I really like using this on my stainless steel sink out in the garage."
