Brooks Koepka appeared to hit out at LIV Golf in a now-deleted comment airing his frustrations about the lack of a schedule for the 2024 season.

Koepka, 33, who captains the 'Smash' team, seemingly confirmed on Saturday that he still does not know when and where he will play in the new year. As it stands, LIV Golf Adelaide in Australia is the only date on the 2024 schedule.

LIV CEO Greg Norman confirmed earlier this month that the league is returning to South Australia after the inaugural tournament there in April. It will again happen in the fourth month of 2024, across the 26th, 27th and 28th of April. However, a week on from that announcement, there have yet to be any other dates added to the calendar.

That has led to Koepka taking matters into his own hands by raising the point on social media. The five-time major winner took umbrage with an Instagram post by the league asking its followers to reply to a direct message from one of its players. Six hypothetical options are available and shown in a graphic.

Phil Mickelson asks: "Short game lesson?" while Bryson DeChambeau says: "Come and hit some bombs with me!?" The list continues with Talor Gooch messaging: "Down for OKC Thunder game courtside?" as Cameron Smith declares: "Let's hit the putting green!" Dustin Johnson 's message reads: "Wanna go fishing?" and, finally, Bubba Watson asks: "Come and feed the goats with me?"

Koepka, a notable absentee from the half-a-dozen options, declines to choose any of the six. Instead, he comments saying: "The DM with the schedule for next year would be nice."

The comment from Koepka is now no longer visible, however the post remains on the LIV Golf League's Instagram account. His wait to learn the schedule for the league's upcoming season seems set to go on a little longer, too, judging by LIV's track record.

It took until late January before the 2023 calendar announcement, less than a month before the year's first tournament in Mayakoba, Mexico. March then had two more tournaments in the United States, starting in Tucson, Arizona, midway through the month before crossing the country a fortnight later for another in Orlando, Florida.

Next came the inaugural tournament in Australia, followed five days later by a trip to Singapore. The schedule is far from the only uncertainty for Koepka this coming season. He still has to shape his team following the relegation suffered by his brother, Chase, leaving a hole in the side.

There is then the Matt Wolff situation that is still unresolved. The American remains on the 'Smash' team despite his captain continuing to feud with his compatriot throughout this year.

Nevertheless, LIV has confirmed he remains on the team for now. That could still change, as there is the potential to trade Wolff during the offseason transfer window.
