And now Ana's grieving father has spoken to Folha de São Paulo newspaper. Weiny Machado, 53, has made a plea for a concise investigation to be carried out, with him keen to learn what happened in the run-up to Ana's death.

Speaking to the paper, he said: "I want it to be found out whether they were in fact prohibited from bringing water, whether there was negligence in providing assistance.

"I know that the singer was handing out water to her fans, and that is absurd for an event of this size. Nothing will bring my daughter back, but I hope that, if negligence is confirmed, someone will be punished, so that this doesn't happen to anyone else."

Fans of the hitmaker have been taking aim at the organisers of the events in Brazil, T4F, which is known as Time For Fun. There have been a vast amount of claims on social media that fans weren't allowed to bring water into the stadium, with ventilation closed off, and high prices for bottles of water that could be purchased.

Last night Taylor made the decision to postpone her second night concert in Rio, with the hitmaker sharing a heartfelt announcement online. The news of the cancelled concert came after the organisers of the gig T4F, an entertainment company also known as Time For Fun, released a statement regarding Ana's death.

T4F also announced new safety measures following the backlash they received. And then after their statement addressing the prohibited water bottles, it was then claimed on social media that "water bottles are OFFICIALLY from now on allowed to enter shows," as per a Taylor Swift fan account who noted: "According to @FlavioDino, Minister of Justice and Public Security."
