Prince William might be the last past you'd expect to see cutting shapes on the dancefloor, but it might not be so far-fetched. The second-in-line to the throne has revealed himself as a "secret clubber".
Radio presenter Simon Mayo shared the details of a recent interaction he'd had with the Duke of Cambridge on Twitter. He shared a photo of his newly awarded MBE and wrote: "So this happened. Prince William did the pinning."
"A class act!" Simon added. "We talked about Radio 1 and how he loved Faithless/Insomnia and Spiller/Groovejet. I suggested that he was clearly a bit of a clubber..."

He's not the only one in the family with a passion for music. Prince William recently shared that two of his children - eight-year-old Prince George and seven-year-old Princess Charlotte – take after him.
Apparently the young royals fight "most mornings" about who is able to choose the music they listen to as they prepare for the schoolday. When speaking on Apple's podcast , the 39-year-old royal said in December last year: "Most mornings there’s a massive fight between Charlotte and George as to what song is played."
In terms of getting round this specific argument, the Duke explained that he has put in place a musical rota, changing who gets to decide the music on which day of the week. Despite the fighting between siblings, William shared that there is one song which never fails to get the Cambridge children dancing.
He said: "One of the songs that the children are loving at the moment is Shakira's 'Waka Waka'. There’s a lot of hip movements going along with a lot of dressing up," he said.
"Charlotte particularly is running around the kitchen, in her dresses and ballet stuff. She goes completely crazy with Louis following her around trying to do the same thing."
Regarding what type of music he prefers to listen to in the mornings, the 39-year-old preferred jam is actually rock music. He said: "There’s nothing better than, on a Monday morning, when you're a bit bleary-eyed after the weekend and trying to get yourself back into the grind of the week, listening to AC/DC's 'Thunderstruck'," he said.
"It absolutely wakes you up, puts your week in the best mood possible, and you feel like you can take on anything and anyone."
