Married At First Sight's Adrienne lifts lid on dumping Matt after final vows
Married At First Sight star Adrienne Naylor and Matt Pilmoor have shared the real reason for their break up.
Fans were left shocked by the split after seeing the couple pledge to remain together at the final vows. They then arrived at the final dinner party separately with Adrienne looking visibly upset at her single status.
Adrienne, a 27-year-old project support office, has now revealed that she went home to "devastating news" after filming the end of her romance with window cleaner Matt, 29, admitting their relationship is now "minimal".
She explained that she found the reunion was "very, very" difficult for her due to the break up and seeing other couples from the experiment still together. Adrienne explained that she and Matt decided to end things mutually between them but she still felt like there was "negativity" when they reunited.
The pair split after their final vows (E4)Speaking to Cosmopolitan, she said: "Matt and I's relationship now is minimal, to say the least. The reunion was very, very difficult. After the experiment, I'd gone home to some devastating news basically.... And when I do try and be in my feelings it was like ''well I've gone through hard times too.

"In the reunion there was a lot of negativity around the way that we finished but we ended things mutually, which is what I was so confused about... And then at the reunion it was like 'I'm going to blame you for all of this' and I was like 'whoa. We ended this mutually', like what? I was so confused.
"And obviously at that time as well I was hurting from the news I had going on at home and trying to adapt back into normality, so I didn't speak to Matt up until our wedding day was airing."
Matt and Adrienne called time on their relationship when their contrasting views of having children kept coming up. Matt said she wanted to have kids in the future but Adrienne disagreed.
In the final week of the experiment when the topic of starting a family was brought up Matt said: "Is there a reason why we shouldn't work on the outside? We want to travel, we want to do bits and bobs. I would one day like to have kids."
Adrienne replied: "I think we are in an amazing place and I think the world of you. But it does worry me that you do want kids. I've always said 'don't want them'. And I've never met anybody that's made me want to change that answer."
Matt seemed disappointed as he asked: "Ummm... do you think that it could be changed?" The pair went on to split for good following the final vows.
It seems like Matt has now moved on as it was recently announced that he is in a relationship with fellow MAFS star Shona Maderson. Shona married Brad Skelly on the show but, however their respective romances both ended, which ultimately led to their own relationship taking off.
