Victoria Beckham is selling a £110 t-shirt inspired by the viral moment she claimed to be 'working-class' in the Beckham family's recent documentary centred around the life of the former footballer.

The white crew neck tee, which reads 'My Dad Had A Rolls Royce', is a nod to a funny exchange between Posh Spice and her husband David Beckham on the Netflix show. Made from 100% soft organic cotton, it can now be purchased from Victoria's fashion site. The 49-year-old has also taken to Instagram to promote the release, sharing a snap of herself wearing the shirt for her devout followers.

In the documentary, David teases Victoria after she describes herself as being 'very working class' during a sit-down interview about her background. The footballer pops his head in the door to urge his wife to be 'honest' about her roots, before asking her what car her dad used to drive her to school in. After some prodding, she admits, "OK. In the '80s, my dad had a Rolls-Royce."

David replied with simple 'Thank you', before exiting the room. In a TikTok video of her modelling her new t-shirt, Victoria confessed she "can't fight it anymore" and said, "Yes, my dad did drive me to school in a Roll's Royce."

The slogan T-shirt, available in sizes XS to XL, can be found on Victoria's website and TikTok shop and was designed to have a relaxed fit. The Spice Girls singer's suggestion that she came from a lower socio-economic family has since been disputed, with fans quickly discovering that she was born into a very privileged world.

The daughter of an electronic engineer and insurance clerk, Victoria grew up in relative comfort and was encouraged to pursue her dreams of becoming an artist. She has also previously admitted that her father drove her and her siblings to school in the luxurious vehicle, but that she was so mortified by its extravagance that she asked to be dropped off around the corner. "He had a van for work and we used to beg him to take us in the van," she revealed in 2015.

The Netflix documentary, titled 'Beckham', offers an intimate look at the famous family through four hour-long episodes of never-before-seen footage. Released on 4th October, traces the journey of the Manchester United star from his modest working-class roots to becoming a global football sensation. It also touches on the couple's marital issues in 2007 when it was widely reported that Beckham had been unfaithful.

As per Netflix's own records, Beckham's show topped the charts for two weeks, attracting a whopping 11.6 million viewers worldwide.
