It seemed like the whole world was raving about Ozempic, but Sharon Osbourne is warning fans to use caution with the trendy diet drug.

The 71-year-old admitted that she started using the drug in December of last year but has been "off it for a while now." Ozempic was originally a drug for those with diabetes, but celebrities have been using it as a way to try to lose weight. This, however, is not what the drug is advertised for.

Ordinary people have used it too, causing shortages, with some singing the praises of the "miracle" injectable drug. But Sharon has an age-old saying for those thinking about trying it: "Be careful what you wish for."

Sharon spoke to the Daily Mail about how the drug has seemingly left her unable to gain weight. "I’m too gaunt, and I can’t put any weight on. I want to because I feel I’m too skinny. I’m under 100 pounds, and I don’t want to be," she said.

"My warning is don’t give it to teenagers. It’s just too easy," she added, "You can lose so much weight, and it’s easy to become addicted to that, which is very dangerous. I couldn’t stop losing weight, and now I’ve lost 42 pounds and I can’t afford to lose any more."

The wife of the Prince of Darkness Ozzy Osbourne said she knows that people have commented on her looks, and she doesn't really care what they think. "I don’t care what people say about the way I look,” she said: “I know I look gaunt, and I know everything that goes along with it. And I did it.”

This wasn't the first time Sharon tried to change her appearance. She opened up about her struggles with an eating disorder and had "paid a fortune" for plastic surgery to look "attractive."

She said: "I was never a beauty. I was never blessed that way. I was blessed with a pair of balls instead of great t*ts!”

It also isn't the first time she has slammed the effects of the drug. The former X Factor judge said that the drug had a negative affect on her stomach. "I was very sick for a couple of months. The first couple of months, I just felt nauseous. Every day I felt nauseous, my stomach was upset, whatever," she previously said.
