Meghan Markle exerted her "solo power" without Prince Harry last night while out on a glitzy "mom's night out" in Los Angeles.
On Thursday night, Meghan attended Variety magazine's Power of Women gala in Los Angeles. Looking incredibly chic in a floor-length beige dress, the Duchess, who stepped down as a senior working Royal in 2020, had all eyes on her as she dominated the red carpet.
After waking the red carpet and posing for photographers, Meghan gushed over how she felt "thrilled" to be back in the world of entertainment. The former actress also hinted at the "so many exciting things" she and Harry have on the slate, with the mum-of-two expressing her excitement to announce them.

Analysing Meghan's solo appearance at the gala in LA, Judi revealed: "Meghan’s red carpet body language here and her deceptively simple styling suggest maturity, confidence and resilience. Her chin is raised and her eyes hit the camera with a knowing look rather than her signature expression of youthful excitement.
“She looks on top of her game posing alone too. Her body positions are well chosen to suggest solo power in what looks very much like a hint that she’s back in the show business she loves."
Judi added that although Meghan might have left the entertainment world behind when she married Harry and became a royal, "this subtle impression of a return (she even refers to a ‘meeting of entertainment and philanthropy’) makes it look as though if she does take acting roles she will be coming back as an A-list star this time around".
Concluding her analysis, Judi added: "When she is interviewed there is a placing of her fingertips to her neck to enhance this status look, along with a beatific smile and a closing of the eyes as she accepts the interviewer’s compliments."
