Toniebox Black Friday deals launched on Coco-Melon, Peppa Pig, Gruffalo and more
Toniebox, the toy beloved by parents keen to minimise screen time, has kicked off a huge Black Friday sale including dozens of its most popular characters, ranging from Frozen to Batman and beyond. Tonies is one of the latest big brands kick-starting their Black Friday deals ahead of the official November 24 date of the shopping event, with huge savings across the board.
The Toniebox is a child-friendly, squishy speaker which acts as a musical storybox. The ergonomically designed and colourful cube has a space in the top to slot a special character and then the audio toy can play stories, songs or music related to the figure on the top, which is known as a Tonie.
Each Toniebox comes with an exclusive starter Creative-Tonie, which allows parents or grandparents to record their own voices onto the gadget perfect for storytime when families can't be together, but more than 200 extra Tonie characters can be bought, aimed at every age and interest, ranging from Disney princesses, Peppa Pig, Spider-Man, Coco-Melon and literary classics from authors like Julia Donaldson, the iconic bear Paddington and more.

For Black Friday, Tonies has taken 20% off standalone starter sets, bundles and accessories, giving parents a chance to pick up some huge deals in time for Christmas.

For children who haven't got a Toniebox yet, the best Black Friday deal is a Toniebox Build Your Own Bundle. As well as getting the digital music box in a choice of six bright colours, you can then chose three, five or seven Tonies. Prices start at £92, saving £32 on buying the elements separately. There are also pre-made bundles ranging from the Paw Patrol Crew to Julia Donaldson.
But the brand's own site isn't the only place to bag a bargain on Tonies this Black Friday. Currys, John Lewis, Boots, Argos and WHSmith all have discounts of at least 20% on the gadgets while Amazon has a wide range of different money saving bundles with different characters.
Meanwhile, if bedtime is difficult, Natural Baby Shower is selling a Sleepy Toniebox Bundle for £91, saving 26% and including the starter Creative-Tonie alongside a Sleepy Sheep nightlight and Nap Time Tonie who tells bedtime stories and plays calming music creating the perfect pre-bedtime routine.
Parents have praised Tonies as being the ideal way to prepare children for starting school, helping children discover new words and improving speech through additional educational yet entertaining content. Others have said the music boxes help establish bedtime routines in younger toddlers.
One five star reviewer on Amazon explained: "The Tonie box and stories are brilliant to help little ones go to sleep without drama. After a real life bedtime story it's nice as part of the bedtime routine to make sure they stay put and can drift off to sleep listening to great quality stories. It's very easy to use and sturdy enough to not be destroyed by over enthusiastic toddlers. One of the best investments I've made."
Another added: "My little ones listen to different stories and songs almost everyday, they can easily change the figures as they are magnetic, and they can use the skip and forward/backward functions easily. The only downside is the setting up of the box. It took me 2hrs to try and sort it out I had to connect it to the WiFi and then my phone hotspot, it was a very frustrating task. The Disney figures are good, they have the songs from the films but they aren't sung by the original cast. The creative Tonie is fun, you can upload a sound or story through the Tonies app. The Tonies app and website has free audio that you can load onto them which changes monthly."
Tonies are just one of a host of early years educational toys and gadgets already reduced this Black Friday. Osmo and Edurino are both being discounted on Amazon this Black Friday.
