Netflix has unexpectedly cancelled five massively popular programmes after the Hollywood strikes, which has, in turn, left fans aghast and angry.
Following seven months of strikes in Hollywood, it was on November 9 when the SAG-AFTRA actors' strike finally came to an end. And back in September, after a four-month strike, the WGA writers' strike came to a halt.
But as the strikes continue to impact upon the industry, it has now been revealed that a slew of popular Netflix shows are getting axed. It has been announced that shows will not be renewed, with fans completely devastated over the sad news.

The first season of Glamorous only came out this year, with Kim Cattrall at the helm of the series. The series followed Marco Mejia, a young gender non-conforming beauty hopeful who has their life turned around when they start working for Madolyn Addison.
The series, starring Miss Benny, was hotly-anticipated to return, with fans completely gutted to learn that it has now been axed. "I’m disappointed Netflix cancelled #Glamorous there was more story to tell. That was a fun world," penned one. Another then added: "That show was very joyful and a lovely successor to Ugly Betty once it found its flow."

Shadow and Bone will also not be renewed (Netflix)Someone else then added: "This was always going to happen after the strikes. Streamers and networks now know they don't need as much content as possible; they need shows that people actually watch."
Meanwhile, Agent Elvis is an animated series that reimagines King of Rock and Roll Elvis as he trades his jumpsuit for a jetpack when joining a secret spy programme to stop villains from destroying the world.
Shadow and Bone, however, follows Alina, a mapmaker who discovers she has the power to summon light and is her country Ravka's first Sun Summoner. While the animated series Farzar sees the son of the villainous czar Renzo, Prince Fichael, get placed in charge of the S.H.A.T. Squad.
And the final series to have been given the axe after one season, was Captain Fall, an adult absurdist dark comedy about a smuggling/human trafficking ship.
