Kourtney and Kim Kardashian have been fighting in recent months

Kourtney Kardashian has finally apologised to Kim Kardashian after taking aim at her sister's appearance in a savage attack.

The pair have been embroiled in a bitter feud in recent months, but it seems their relationship has been on the edge for years. In the latest episode of The Kardashians, Kim and Kourtney reunited as they opened up about their tense childhood relationship.

At Kourtney's birthday party, Kim gave her sister a card which read: "I'm proud to call you my sister hopefully it makes up for all the other things I've called you". Speaking in a confessional, Kourtney admitted she used to say "the meanest things".

Turning to her sister, Kourtney explained: "We all used to say the meanest things. I used to have no feelings. All I would say is like, 'You're so f***ing celulitey'."

Kim admitted she would be left in tears because of Kourtney's insults. "Like in high school, she would be like, 'Eww, my sister has big saggy t**s, you would hate her'. And guys at school or at a party and I would literally walk away crying."

In an attempt to fix things with her sister, Kourtney said: "Well I'm sorry for the past." Kim seemed to take it well as she laughed and replied: "Thank you."

The drama between Kim and Kourtney came to a head last season when the pair began fighting over Dolce & Gabbana, after Kim collaborated with them even though they were featured in Kourtney's wedding. While Kim and Kourtney seem to have worked through their differences, things didn't look good just weeks ago when they were filmed having a very heated phone call.

During their chat, Kourtney accused Kim of being self-centred and Kim even admitted the family had a group chat without Kourtney. When Kim countered that even Kourtney's kids had to turn to their aunt Kim for advice, Kourtney lashed out.

She said: "Is that helpful? You're like adding it into a fight to like have a side, like it's you and my friends and my kids and everyone against me. It's like you're just a f***ing witch, and I f***ing hate you."
