Sometimes you might look at something and your brain just can't figure out what it is. Optical illusions play tricks on our eyes and confuse our brains.
As well as being fun, they are also a great way to learn more about the brain and perception - as it shows how our expectations and assumptions affect what we see. Recently, an optical illusion has left people scratching their heads as they try to figure out where the hidden bear is.
If you take a look at the image, you'll see a wooden cabin in a woods, surrounded by trees. It might look like the typical place a bear hangs out, but can you see it?
If you can't, you're not alone. Most people fail to see the hidden animal - because their assumptions get in the way. Take a moment and look around for the bear - and try to think outside the box.

Most people will no doubt assume they should be looking for a live bear, but as with many optical illusions, our expectations and assumptions will get in the way. In fact, what you're looking for is an outline of a bear in the branches. This is located just above the hut.

Another added: "I don't think animals' outlines in dead branches are the same thing". Another joked: "Almost as hard to find as my dad in the grocery store. It's been 10 years."
Another recent optical illusion is supposed to reveal certain things about your personality, depending on what you see. If you see a tree or a lady picking apples first, you're supposed to be a very honest and reliable person. Meanwhile, if you saw a face first, it means next month is "going to be incredible for you".
